Being a destination wedding photographer is simply fantastic. Not only you get to travel to places you merely though you will visit, but you also get to meet some exciting people and visit some incredible locations. This time the new and never seen destination became a reality - Los Angeles. The place full of colour, sunlight, magnitude and many more things and the levels of excitement that went through my head was insane. What's even more surreal that this destination wedding journey was a result of an extraordinary friendship that I have developed earlier in London this year while documenting the inmate wedding of Douglas & Steven. Life can be incredible sometimes I though while boarding my 12-hour flight to the city of Angels to photograph a part 2 of a beautiful wedding of Steven & Douglas.
Shutters on the Beach Wedding
After shooting an intimate wedding of Steven and Douglas in London earlier this year, I've got a call a few months later asking if I'd love to join them for part 2 of their wedding in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. They didn't need to ask me twice :) For the excellent wedding venue couple chose a luxury beach hotel in Santa Monica - Shutters on the Beach. Situated, literally, on the beach and minutes away from all the vibe of the city and famous Santa Monica Pier it was a perfect wedding venue. We have started our day at the hotel getting ready after joining all the guests for cocktails and having an excellent couples photography session later in the sunset. The colours of L.A. were merely breath-taking and documenting a wedding there was an unforgettable experience. Worth mentioning, the help of a great California wedding planner - Wayne who was an absolute pleasure to work. The day itself was just fantastic, and I can't thank enough for you guys to bringing me there. It just makes me love my job!
