Undoubtedly, London is the most vibrant city in Europe. From the hype and energy of the East End to the glamour in the west of the city - it never amazes to inspire. As a London Wedding photographer, I always enjoy documenting the stories of people getting married here. There are many reasons that my couples choose London as their wedding city. Some of them has been living here for years; others fell in love since the first time they have visited. Even after I’ve photographed uncountable amount of weddings here in London, every single of it are always different and always inspire me. This time I had a pleasure to photograph Hannah & Joao’s wedding here in London at the iconic location - The Dorchester Hotel, and it was simply spectacular.
The Dorchester Hotel Wedding Photography
The Dorchester Hotel is one of the most iconic London’s hotels. Overlooking Hyde Park and Mayfair the hotel is favourite with all sorts of high-end guests. It’s, as well, a spectacular wedding venue. They are hosting anything from small and intimate ceremonies to a spectacularly lavish and large wedding. I’ve been fortunate to photograph multiple weddings at the Dorchester hotel, and this time was no exception. Hannah and Joao chose Dorchester hotel for their intimate wedding, and particularly the stunning Penthouse and Pavilion was perfect for their wedding. Penthouse and Pavilion at the Dorchester is a private theatrical suite designed my world-class theatrical stage designer Oliver Messel. The couple fell in love with the location from the first time they saw it, and there were no questions where to get married anymore.
Hannah’s morning started in one of the hotel sweets, where her mum and sister accompanied her. It was very laid back and a relaxed morning while getting ready. The ceremony was held at the Dorchester Penthouse where the friends and family of the couple were present. After the ceremony, all the guests were having drinks at the Pavilion overlooking London. In the meantime, I took the couple outside for their wedding pictures in the Mayfair and other beautiful signature spots in the hotel. Later, the dinner was served and together with the speeches and the evening was wrapped with more drinks at the Pavilion after that. It was a lovely and intimate wedding day, and I’ve enjoyed every moment photographing it.
