Cooling Castle Barn is a lovely wedding barn located in Kent and was the first choice for Rachel and Jordan to have their wedding there. The barn is situated in a charming village and has the perfect setting and accommodates for the whole wedding day from early morning preparations to the late-night dancing. It’s as well a lovely setting for a wedding photographer as it has plenty of beautiful locations and settings for couples wedding portraits. Rachel and Jordan wanted to have an intimate family wedding the whole day felt super relaxed and emotional. Their closest family and friends surrounded them and the day itself was very natural and full of fun little details and emotions between people, which, for a wedding photographer like me was an absolute pleasure to capture.
The day started early and relaxed with Rachel and her closest friends getting ready in one of the rooms. Jordan was getting prepared nearby and was even having a quick trip done by his close barber friend. The ceremony itself was gorgeous and moving, and later all the guests were having cocktails outside. Later, once the portraits and family photos were done, the couple welcomed their family and friends to wedding breakfast that was followed by witty speeches full of naughty insults towards Jordan. After the first dance, the party got in full swing and lasted till late.
Because they have decided to have their wedding in spring - not only we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather outside, but for me, the highlight was the beautiful setting of blossoming cherry trees that provided an astonishing background during the couple session.
